Pujols Looks For Homers At Home
St. Louis' MVP candidate and possible Triple Crown Award winner, Albert Pujols, will be glad to be in action on Monday night in Major League Baseball's Home Run Derby. Pujols will gladly put on a show for his hometown St. Louis fans and is taking this competition seriously, as most contestants do.
Albert last competed in a Home Run Derby in Chicago's 2007 hosting of the All-Star Game. It looked as if Pujols' swing was not cut out for the derby, but more for line drives and smashes hit to all portions of the field. This time in his home stadium look for more home runs out of Albert, and possibly all the remaining illuminated letters of "BIG MAC LAND" to be put out by bombs off the bat of the man people call, Fat Albert.
